“ The Role of an Effective PMO in Successful Project and Program Delivery” Join us for a lively and interactive session on the role of the PMO in large and small organizations to drive value through project delivery. Often PMO professionals sneer at the idea of the PMO offering pure administrative support only, but these and other PMO functions are often highly valued by project managers and project teams; especially where these skills may otherwise be lacking on the team. The type of PMO structure may need to be considered for optimum value. We will consider the role an effective PMO can play in driving and supporting successful delivery at all levels of the organization and how the business and project leaders engage with the PMO and identify how best to assist delivery within the context of other roles across the organization (e.g. product development, transition teams, HR, etc.).
