An Atomic Approach to Change Management
Navigating your organization through change is one of the most challenging tests of leadership. In May of 2019, Chris Collado was asked to lead his organization through one of the largest change initiatives in its history: the transition to a state of the art 355,000 square foot hospital. Despite a global pandemic, this project was completed on schedule and on time. During the transition process, Chris conducted research to analyze how leaders perceived the change process. This research gave rise to a new change management approach named the Atomic Transition Model. While focused on large organizational changes in health care, this model offers insight into the successful navigation of change which could be applied in other organizational contexts.
