2020 PMI Mid-South Planning & Development Days

If you missed this year's event, no worries! We have now-reopened registration
for this online event for post-event viewing of all sessions! Registration has been
extended through 12/31/2020 at 23:55PM. All sessions are available to be viewed through
(~July-August 2021).
This three-day virtual event was held September 15-17, 2020 (9:00AM-4:00PM CDT/10:00-5:00PM EDT). This year, due to the pandemic, chapter leaders from across the mid-south have joined forces to bring you this first-of-its-kind event which includes collaboration from PMI Chapters in Central Alabama, Central Mississippi, Chattanooga, Memphis, Nashville, North Alabama, and South Alabama.
The theme for the event is “Business Agility, Resiliency, and Bouncing Back,” and the schedule will provide access to 15+ PDUs, sessions will cover popular topics in project management, and opportunities to improve your skills.Speaker information will be posted on the website as they each are confirmed. Since the event is virtual, you will now be available to attend the event from the safety of your home or office. In addition, if you are unable to view the event live, on-demand access to the recordings will be available after the live event.
Our virtual event software (Attendify), combined with a new website (launching soon), will offer a unique experience for virtual attendees. It provides the ability to network with other attendees, speakers, and sponsors via chat and an in-app Activity Stream that is similar to social media platforms. The sessions will be available in real time streaming through the mobile or desktop Attendify app that registrants will need to download before the event. Instructions and an invitation to join the event will be emailed after registration is completed and paid.
**Please make sure the email address you register with is accessible and active because we will send information on how to access the virtual event via email about a week before the event.**
Registration to the Event Includes:
- Live presentations with speakers selected by combined Chapter Leaders
- Three days of topics and tips to help you improve your skillsets
- The opportunity to earn 15+ PDUs towards certification renewal
- Sessions from across the PMI Talent Triangle (Technical, Leadership, and Business Strategy)
- On-demand viewing for all sessions after the live event is completed
- Ability to ask questions of the speaker via monitored chat during live sessions
- Live polling and reviews of sessions
- Ability to bookmark sessions and take notes within the app for review later
- Networking with attendees, speakers, and sponsors via chat and in-app Activity Board just for this event
- Access materials or presentations that speakers and sponsors have provided
- Support for your event experience if you have questions via both live chat and FAQs
The registration fee for each attendee is $120.00 USD, and the fee/registration process is the same for PMI Global and local Chapter members, non-members, and large groups. There are no separate corporate/group rates since it is an online and regional event. Be sure to register through your local PMI Chapter’s website/event page to ensure your local chapter gets credit for your attendance.
