Speaker: George Hoff
Bio: Mr. Hoff assists state governments improve access to benefits for their users for Medicaid, Health and Human Services, and Unemployment Insurance by leading programs to modernize legacy technology solutions. This has included providing Project Management Office and Change Management expertise to Mississippi, Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut. Previously he was a Senior Project Manager within IBM's Corporate Headquarters Business Transformation group and responsible for projects across 73 countries. Prior to IBM, he had experience as an Auditor, Business Consultant and Project Manager focused on organizational change management, process improvement, ISO quality system certifications, business intelligence, as well as supply-chain and lean manufacturing for foreign and domestic public and private entities. In addition to his PMP, he has certifications as a Master Six Sigma Black Belt w/ Lean Manufacturing.
Mr. Hoff has an MBA in International Finance and is a graduate of Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, with studies at the London School of Economics in England.

Discription: Project management and change management are complimentary, yet distinct, disciplines that will overlap during change delivery, but are interdependent in delivering benefit to the organization. Integration of project and change management is required to fully realize benefits. In addition, Organizational change is not possible without individual behavior change. Central to any change effort is to ensure that measures are identified to monitor and enforce accountability for both. Both project management and change management are considered successful once acceptance ifs obtained.
