201707 July Dinner Meeting

Register now for the July Risk and Issues Forum!

Every project has risks and issues, but every project manager may not have prior experience evaluating the proposed action plans or be comfortable with recommending unfamiliar solutions.

The Central Mississippi Chapter of PMI will be hosting a Risk and Issues forum which allows participants to present risks and issues and receive advice from experienced Project Managers and Business Analysts from numerous industries and backgrounds.

Common project risks that chapter members have dealt with include:

  • Poor project leadership
  • High resource turnover
  • Insufficient resources availability
  • Unrealistic project schedules
  • Poorly defined requirements
  • Contractor performance
  • Poor Organizational Change Management
  • Inadequate scope management
We invite all individuals who have risks or issues to attend this meeting and participate in an informed discussion with members of your local Project Management Institute chapter.

Please note that because of the public nature of this forum, participants won't be able to discuss items where confidentiality is a concern, but any other risk or issue facing their project is welcome.

Advance registration by the public will be required for this event as seating is strictly limited.
