Saeed Rokooei is an assistant professor of Building Construction Science at Mississippi State University. His professional experience includes responsibilities as an architect, project scheduler, and project manager in both private firms and public organizations since 2003. Other responsibilities include management consultant and president of a construction engineering and management firm. He has also conducted several research projects and taught project management courses since 2006.
Saeed obtained his bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering and then continued his studies in Construction and Project Management. He completed his Master of Science in Management Information Systems at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and Ph.D. in Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His research project, entitled “Project Management Education Research Excellence within Cyber-Infrastructure Environment”, investigated the use of simulation for project management education and consisted of two simulation applications. Saeed’s research areas include project management education, sustainability, creativity, simulation and visualization, and data analytics.
Saeed is a PMP holder and a PMI member since 2012. Before moving to Mississippi, he served as the Director of Advanced Education at the PMI Heartland Chapter. Saeed is currently the Vice President-Membership and Recruiting at the PMI-CMS Chapter.
